►Since my return to Newgrounds after a long hiatus I can't help but notice the changes, with perhaps the biggest being the fact that new, great content is being churned out faster than ever before. In the earlier days it felt as though a truly great animation would only be released every once in a while. Now, it seems one is released every hour!

►Let me be an old man for a second and ramble a little through the years.

►My first real project was an animated music video of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" in 2007. Even after 13 years, my animation style has hardly changed.

For a real trip to the past, I had another Newgrounds account even before this one. I was 12 when I made Super GTA Bros.

Naturally, a combination of every 12 year olds two favourite things. I can't access this account anymore, can anyone smarter than me lend a suggestion on how to recover my old stuff?

►It's humbling to return and see just how much talent is out there, but it's great to still be a part of it and get back to my roots. Newgrounds inspired me when I was a kid to learn how to animate. In many ways, I still haven't! But I know that if it wasn't for this community I would've mustered the drive to create something for myself.

►My newest animated undertaking is "Ascentrium", an anime Sci-Fi series. I like to think of it as a culmination of all the great things I've admired about Newgrounds growing up. It's always been a dream of mine to create my own series like I used to watch on this website. Finally, with a whole lot of time on my hands thanks to a little pandemic, I've been able to create it. Had it not been for this community and website I never would've found the drive nor inspiration to create something of my own. And it's great to see NG continuing to thrive and inspire to this day.

You can check out the first of many (and I mean many) episodes of Ascentrium here : Ascentrium Episode One
